As we head into the final quarter of the year, I want to thank each of you for adapting so well to the transition to metal license plates. Overall, the rollout has been fairly smooth for such a significant change, and we hope your teams are adjusting well to this updated process.
To ensure continued success with the new system, don’t forget to double-check your plate inventory when shipments arrive. Also, ensure that you store plates securely and track them carefully within your dealership. As we strive for enhanced security within this process, these two tasks are crucial.
My next initiative will be a major focus on modernizing the titling system through e-titling. This effort is a personal priority of mine, and we’re continuing conversations with state agencies and banks to help move this process forward. A fully digital titling system will significantly increase efficiency and reduce paperwork delays—especially when banks commit to supporting the transition.
On the market front, the latest SAAR (Seasonally Adjusted Annual Rate) sits at 16 million, signaling healthy consumer confidence and strong sales momentum across the region. It is exciting to see sales this good and the continuation of quality products across all brands.
