For Dealerships

Support the next generation of automotive technicians

Dealership participation is what makes this competition possible. By sponsoring, mentoring, interviewing, or exhibiting, your team helps students connect classroom learning to real dealership careers while building relationships with future technicians.

Why Participate

Build relationships with future technicians early.

The competition gives dealerships direct access to motivated high school automotive students before they enter the workforce. Dealer mentors help students understand service department expectations, diagnostic processes, communication skills, and career pathways.

Mentor Students

Provide guidance, host shop visits, and support learning.

Career Fair Presence (Optional)

Dealerships may host a recruiting table to meet students, collect resumes, and discuss entry-level career pathways.

Hiring Follow-up

Dealers are encouraged to follow up with standout students after the event for internships, apprenticeships, part time work, or future employment opportunities.

Mentorship & Shop Visits

Dealerships paired with school teams should coordinate training visits leading up to the competition. Prior guidance recommended a minimum of 15 hours of dealership training where possible.

Tools & Vehicles

Dealerships may be asked to provide one vehicle for the on-vehicle competition and ensure it is available for event setup and testing.

Instructor Communication

Dealer contacts should coordinate directly with instructors on student training dates, arrival expectations, and preparation needs.
